Reason for choosing this sport"First I was an inline speed skater, but I always wanted to do an Olympic sport, so I tried ice speed skating because many inline skaters started to switch to ice. I went to a boarding school in Erfurt [in Germany] and did inline and ice. In July 2017 I moved to Inzell and wanted to just focus on ice speed skating."
