Reason for choosing this sport	"My neighbour asked me to go to the [inline] skating rink in Heerde [in the Netherlands] to try a training session. I liked it so much and stayed there. When I was eight years old, I was already inline skating in the summer but I also wanted to do something in the winter. Then I went with my father to the ice rink. I borrowed my aunt's skates, but they were not sharp at all. I slid all over the place, so at first it didn't go so well. I want to keep doing both sports for as long as I can, but if I really have to choose I will choose speed skating because it is an Olympic sport."

When and where did you begin this sport?	She began inline skating at age six. She got involved in speed skating two years later in Deventer, Netherlands.
