Training Regime | "A limiting factor to my training is the very low amount of ice time available to my club, only having one hour on Monday and Wednesday evenings. To make up for this, every day I do off-ice exercises to improve strength and technique. I cycle outside, weather permitting, and on the static bike every day. I do not train on ice to improve general fitness and strength. I do a number of other sports at a recreational level including badminton and flatwater kayaking on weekends to stay in shape." | |

Reason for choosing this sport | "My brother used to do diving at Guildford Spectrum, the sports complex at which I now train with Aldwych Speed Skating Club.
