Reason for choosing this sportShe followed her parents into the sport, and also wanted to compete at the Olympic Winter Games. "When I made the switch to ice, I told myself to cast aside all of my past glories as a roller sports skater. The moment I decided to become a speed skater, I became a nobody. I knew I was starting from the bottom, from zero. But that was a welcome challenge for me."
When and where did you begin this sport? She began roller skating in 1990, and switched to speed skating in 2015. "I put on father's special roller skates for the first time when I was one-and-a-half years old. At that time, what I was most looking forward to was practising with everyone every night."
