Other information | NUTRITIONIST She retired from professional road cycling in 2021 and planned to pursue a career as a nutritionist for children. "First, I did the studies as a gym teacher and I had this feeling for I want to learn more about it [nutrition]. If you know more about that I think you can get more from yourself. I wanted to learn more about food, and then maybe I can make a step higher. That's why I made the decision to learn it at school. It was more for myself at the time but, if you look around now, things are not going in a good way with the children. It's really painful for me to see it also in the Netherlands.
