She fractured vertebrae in her back after falling at the 2010 World Cup event in Quebec, QC, Canada. The extent of her injuries was only discovered after she had returned to France. She announced her retirement from competitive short track in May 2020. She said she would stay involved in the sport by mentoring young short track skaters in France. "My heart, head and body tell me it's time to do something new. And so, I decided to retire from top-level short track. I always wanted to decide myself when to stop my career so I would have no regrets. Skating is my whole life. It made me who I am today and will always be something that fascinates me. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had in my long career. Now it is my turn to pass on all the experience ??that I have acquired. It is therefore with pleasure that I will take care of young athletes in the national set-up as well as within the Reims Speed Skating Club."
