InjuriesIn August 2014 she suffered a head injury and broken vertebrae after colliding with a tractor while training on her bicycle. She had been attending a training camp in Spala, Poland, when the accident occurred. She was unable to compete for the rest of the year. In April 2020 she and fellow Polish speed skater Andzelika Wojcik began working as volunteers to help deliver grocery shopping to elderly people in Lubin, Poland, during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. "I don't have lots of money to help, but it's possible to help in another way. First my brother got involved and then I also wanted to do something to help. Together with Andzelika Wojcik, we enrolled in a volunteer project organised by the city hall. I am proud of this experience and that we could help others." ACADEMY
In 2017 she launched the Natalia Czerwonka Academy of Sports Development in Lubin, Poland. "My next dream came true and I am very happy that I can promote it and give my name to it. I am extremely proud that I can be a role model and give motivation to young skaters. The athletes from the academy are my greatest motivation to work hard.
