"My injury changed my perception and I understood the importance of small details, food, sleep, recovery. I have changed too, from a mental point of view. The pressure eased and I finally realised that if I'm not having fun, it is useless. I even think I'm a better skater than before my injury, which was really a turning point for me. Thanks to all that, I understood what it was like to be an elite athlete." (journaltime.org, 05 Mar 2021) |
