Born and raised in Canada to Italian parents, she represented the North American nation in short track at junior level. However, her career did not progress as she had hoped and by age 23 she was considering retirement from the sport. In 2016, following discussions with Italian short track skater Arianna Fontana, she joined the Italian national short track team and made her international debut in November that year. When and where did you begin this sport?She began skating at age four in Laval, QC, Canada. She also played football, but quit the sport at age 15 due to knee problems and to focus on short track.
