Reason for choosing this sportHe was introduced to short track by a friend. "I used to want to become a professional footballer. The choice was not so difficult. In football, I could never have further achievements. Short track is a tough sport, that's what I like about it. It is man-to-man, in contrast to speed skating where time is leading. In short track you fight for your place and you want to do that as well as possible."
