Reason for choosing this sport"My younger brother David was introduced to short track by his friend from inline skating, Stijn Desmet, and wanted to try it as well. Me and my family just went along, since there weren't any inline sessions during the winter. I never intended to skate in competitions, but soon I loved it more than inline skating."
