Sport Specific Information
Sport Specific Information
Name of coachGerard van Velde [club], NED
Training Regime"I like weight training in the gym. I like lifting and seeing the progression every week. My least favourite training is inline skating. It is not comparable to long track ice skating. I don't like it, but I still do it. Everything I dislike makes me better as well."
Club / TeamTeam Reggeborgh: Netherlands
Reason for choosing this sport"I played hockey for eight years. I enjoyed it, but I have never been a team player. I regularly had to sit on the reserve bench. The individual aspect of skating appeals to me. It never lies. You have complete control over the end result yourself."

Other informationNAME ORIGIN
Her father named her Jutta because he was a fan of German windsurfer Jutta Muller. "I got the name because my dad used to surf. There was a girl who won a lot and her name is Jutta Muller. A lot of male surfers were impressed by her. She was blond and my dad thought, 'If I have a blond daughter, I will name her Jutta'." (YouTube channel, 26 Nov 2019)

EDUCATION
She earned a diploma from the Hogeschool Rotterdam before starting a course in economics at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. "For me it's really important to keep studying. I prefer to study alongside my sport and to use my brain after my sporting career is over. I don't want my world to rely solely on sport. Besides, studying is a nice distraction."
