Other informationCLUB SWITCH
In 2021 she moved from Team FrySk to Team Jumbo-Visma, a Dutch commercial club team. During the 2020/21 season she had to seek sponsors and donations because of the lack of funding available from Team FrySk. "It means I can focus entirely on sports, training and skating. I no longer have to worry about other issues. I had been with Team FrySk for four years, and it really felt like a family to me. The bond with Siep [Hoekstra, Team FrySk coach] was also very special. So it's hard to say goodbye. It's very exciting to see what another training programme does. I'm not afraid of it, otherwise I would not have made the move."
