Name of coach | Jeroen Otter [national], NED; Dave Versteeg, NED |
Sporting philosophy / motto | "I just want to enjoy skating. And have fun in my sport. Sometimes I am so busy with my performance that I forget to enjoy it." (schaatsen.nl, 17 Mar 2018) | |
Other information | COMBINING TWO SPORTS Although her focus is on short track, she has also competed in speed skating at the Dutch national championships. "People look at you from a different perspective and have opinions. You switch all the time and that is not always accepted by everyone. But you just have to keep doing your own thing. Short track and long track speed skating stimulate each other. But short track remains my starting point, it shouldn't suffer. My trainer Dave Versteeg puts everything together, and so far he has succeeded." (schaatsen.nl, 24 Nov 2020) |
