Me and my family just went along, since there weren't any inline sessions during the winter. I never intended to skate in competitions, but soon I loved it more than inline skating." |

She has also done volunteer work for the Royal Belgian Speed Skating Federation [KBSF], writing and editing articles for the federation's website as well as maintaining its social media accounts. In addition, she worked as a volunteer translator for the Ostend Film Festival in Belgium.
