InjuriesIn October 2021 he missed the World Cup events in Beijing, People's Republic of China, and Nagoya, Japan, due to an ankle ligament injury. He returned to competition the following month at the World Cup event in Debrecen, Hungary, but was forced to withdraw from the event after suffering a recurrence of the injury during a fall in the 1500m.
