(King 5 YouTube channel, 03 Feb 2022; seattletimes.com, 22 Jan 2022) RELOCATING TO UTAH After being named Short Track Development Female Skater of the Year in 2020, she and her mother relocated to Utah where she joined the Short Track Junior National Program and trained under the guidance of coach Li Geng. "She really helped me analyse the parts of my technique that hadn't gotten a lot of attention before so I was able to fix the way I skated and adjust my technique and form. Her programmes are really well suited for me. She really matches what each skater needs, and that has really helped me continue to improve and not just plateau." (seattletimes.com, 22 Jan 2022) |
