Other information | POLAND TO HUNGARY Having made her World Cup debut for Poland in 2012, she became pregnant in 2015 and took a three-year break from speed skating. Upon her return to the sport in 2018, she switched nationality and began competing for Hungary. "Winning an Olympic medal is a very hard and long process that requires a lot of sacrifices. An athlete also needs help from their sports association, club and ministry of sport. In Hungary there is money for sports. Although it is a small country, they have had a lot of sporting success."
